Braeden Presley is a two-way player for the Bixby Spartans and is a threat on the field at what he does, which makes him the ninth-best player in the state currently.
Braeden Presley comes from a well-known bloodline in Bixby. Between the three brothers Brennan, Braylin and Braeden, they combine for eight state championships. Braeden is a senior and could pick up the lucky number nine this December.
The oldest brother, Brennan, spent six seasons with the Oklahoma State Cowboys before going undrafted and signed as a free agent with the Los Angeles Rams and undergoing his first season in the NFL.
Braylin spent one season with the Cowboys before transferring to Tulsa and now entering his third year with the Golden Hurricane.
"Not a lot of people can say that I play on Friday, and go watch my brothers play on Saturday and Sunday, so I feel like it's a special thing to do."
As you can see, Braeden benefits from a wealth of football knowledge in his family, with one playing at the professional level and one at the collegiate level, where they can provide high-level insight and experience when needed.
"When I'm struggling on something I'll just call them and see what they have to say about it. I mean they've been here, they've played on these big stages. They know what's gonna happen." said Presley
Loren Montgomery is the head coach of the Spartans and has watched each Presley brother come in and grow as a player and be successful.
"The Presley last name comes with high expectations, I won't say pressure. Braeden continues to grow and be a sponge embracing it all." said Montgomery
He is lethal at the receiver spot on offense and can get in the endzone from just about anywhere on the field.
The work doesn't stop there; no rest for Presley as he could breakaway for an 80-yard touchdown and jump straight on defense as a defensive back for the Spartans and cover just about anyone in the state.
"Nobody is really playing receiver or DB anymore, so I feel like me being able to play both sides is pretty special" said Braeden.
Braeden is a senior and has the same goal every year: to win football games and have fun while doing so.
"We have a lot of starters back and have a lot of chemistry. Yeah we know we have to win, this year is just different because we know what's on the table but just trying to have fun a long the way."
