A well deserved honor for one of the best to ever play for North Texas.

Former Locust Grove quarterback turned Mean Green star Mason Fine is set to be inducted into the 2025 UNT Athletics Hall of Fame class.

The four-year standout from 2016 to 2019 remains the programs all-time leader in passing yards (12,505 yards), passing touchdowns (93), and completions (1,039). Fine also holds five other program records as well.

He was named the Conference USA Offensive Player of the Year on two different occasions, and was a three-time all-CUSA selection.

During his time in high school at Locust Grove, Fine was named the Oklahoma Gatorade Player of the Year in both 2014 and 2015.
