The Meadow Gold District is adding two more iconic figures to its lineup along Route 66 later this year: Rosie the Riveter and Cowboy Bob.
The statues were recently spotted on the move, heading to Tulsa aboard a flatbed truck. They’ll soon become the fourth and fifth statues installed in the district, joining a growing collection of roadside attractions that celebrate Route 66 heritage and local pride.
Cowboy Bob will be the first of the two to rise. His installation is set for Thursday, Aug. 14, near Buck Atoms Cosmic Curios along 11th Street and Peoria Avenue.

Rosie the Riveter will follow later this fall, though an exact date has not yet been announced.
Her addition carries special local significance: The woman who inspired the original Rosie the Riveter campaign during World War II was from Tulsa. The campaign became a symbol of female empowerment and industrial workforce contributions during the 1940s.
With the addition of Rosie and Cowboy Bob, the Meadow Gold District continues its transformation into a must-stop destination along historic Route 66.
The statues offer more than just photo ops- they serve as nods to American resilience, nostalgia and Tulsa’s own cultural contributions.
