Tulsa Men’s hoops heads to California for Thanksgiving week showdown in Coachella Valley

The University of Tulsa men’s basketball team will compete in the Acrisure Holiday Invitational, part of The Acrisure Series, on Nov. 25–26 at Acrisure Arena in California’s Coachella Valley. The four-team event includes Tulsa, San Jose State, Northern Iowa, and Loyola-Chicago.

TU opens against San Jose State on Tuesday, Nov. 25, and will face either Northern Iowa or Loyola-Chicago the following day at 1 or 3:30 p.m. CT.

“We’re excited to play in a first-class event that mirrors a conference tournament format,” said head coach Eric Konkol.

The Thanksgiving Week showcase will be nationally televised, with games airing on truTV and CBS Sports Network, offering fans across the country a chance to watch top-tier talent in a premier venue.
