A woman says it was her son’s father, 22-year-old Isaiah Knight, who was killed.
She remembers what an outgoing and fun person he was. She says Isaiah was trying to turn his life around.
He had just finished welding school a few weeks ago and was planning on moving to be with her and their son.
“He was a very goofy person; he lit up any and every room that he walked into, because he had a very enthusiastic personality,” she said.
She says he had just gotten off of house arrest and went to the Juneteenth Festival to have some fun. She never thought he’d end up losing his life.
She says she wants justice for Isaiah and those who got hurt.
“Plenty of people basically risked their lives, put their lives in jeopardy because of your foolishness,” she said.
