Construction is underway on a major new facility designed to enhance and consolidate services for Owasso’s Public Works Department.

The nearly $30 million project is being built off of East 116th Street, just west of the Owasso Sports Park. City officials say the development will significantly improve the efficiency and coordination of field and fleet operations.

What’s Being Built?

The project includes three major buildings:

  1. A new administrative headquarters
  2. A field operations building
  3. A fleet and facility maintenance center

All of these will sit on a 48-acre tract, providing the space needed to support city services as Owasso continues to grow.

Why It Matters

City leaders say the centralized design will streamline daily operations, reduce transit times between facilities, and improve service to residents. It's a long-term investment aimed at future-proofing city infrastructure.

Timeline for Completion

Construction is expected to wrap up in March 2026, according to city planners. Work is ongoing at the site, which remains closed to the public during development.
