Tulsa man accused of shooting dad, brothers at Father's Day gathering arrested

A man is now in custody in San Antonio, Texas, who is charged with shooting his father and two brothers on Father’s Day.

Tulsa police say they got a tip that Kywaun Washington had gotten the men together so he could kill them.

Officers responded to the scene after 5 p.m. and found two victims with gunshot wounds nearby. A third victim was dropped off at OSU Medical Center in critical condition. All three are now in stable condition.

Police say a black Jeep Compass was stolen from the scene and later spotted traveling away from the area.

One of the victims stated that the shooter was one of his sons, identifying Kywaun Washington. According to the affidavit, other witnesses were unable to identify the shooter.

Police say license plate reading cameras helped track that Jeep to a hotel in San Antonio.
