Tulsa police arrested a woman Friday night who they say went on a crime spree with her 5-year-old daughter in the car.

According to investigators, Daviona Robinson attempted to steal more than $700 worth of merchandise from a store near East 41st Street and South Sheridan Road. Police said Robinson also assaulted a store employee and a customer before trying to hit the customer with her vehicle as she fled the scene.

Officers located her vehicle shortly after and initiated a traffic stop. However, police say Robinson attempted to evade arrest by driving to a different store and hiding in a restroom.

Police were able to get Robinson out of the restroom, but as they were attempting to arrest her, they say she resisted and even bit an officer.

She now faces multiple charges, including larceny, assault and battery, assault with a deadly weapon, and assault on a police officer.

Police released the 5-year-old girl into the custody of her grandfather.
