The 19th annual Saint Francis Tulsa Tough is kicking off with a first responder relay challenge at one of the event’s most iconic locations—Cry Baby Hill on Monday.
Teams of three from Tulsa Police, Tulsa Fire, the Tulsa County Sheriff’s Office, and EMSA will race up Cry Baby Hill, competing for the coveted Cry Baby Climb Trophy and a $1,000 prize to use however they choose—whether it’s groceries for the firehouse, station upgrades, or a celebratory treat.

According to Tulsa Tough’s website, this festival offers a premier cycling experience for professionals, casual riders, and families alike. With three days of criterium races (crits) held on different courses, generous payouts, and energetic crowds, the excitement is palpable. The Fondo rides on Saturday and Sunday provide multiple distances, ensuring participants can choose routes based on their pace and challenge level.
Families can enjoy kids’ races for children nine and under and the free Townie ride presented by Williams, making it an inclusive event for all ages.
For companies, the Corporate Challenge Sportif offers a chance to compete in the Fondo rides and claim bragging rights as Tulsa’s toughest team.
