All but one of the eastbound lanes of I-244 were closed between Yale and Sheridan as officers assisted someone who appeared to have been experiencing a mental health crisis.

Officers were able to get that person safely off the highway and into custody. According to TPD, while Officers were talking to her, they learned that she was a suspect in an armed robbery at Dollar General at 3900 E. Admiral.

Traffic is being allowed to pass on the far left-hand lane. Expect delays in the area.
