The City of Bartlesville is starting a near-$4 million project to improve several major roads across town.

Which Roads Are Affected?

Biston Road between Tuxedo and Nowata Road

Tuxedo Boulevard between Madison and Bison

Madison Boulevard between Tuxedo and Price

Price between Washington Boulevard and Madison Boulevard

Frank Phillips Boulevard from Sunset to Keeler, Delaware to Hillside and from Avondale to Madison

Johnstone from Adams to 14th and 4th to 5th Street

Jefferson Place from Lincoln to Boardwalk Court

Virginia Avenue from Hensley to Butler Creek

What Kind of Work Is Being Done?

Crews will be doing crack sealing, then applying what’s called a bonded matrix overlay. It basically prevents things like water or debris from getting into the concrete.

Will There Be Lane Closures?

Yes, as crews work but they’ll keep access to nearby businesses and homes during the work.

When Will All This Be Done?

If all goes as planned, and there’s no weather delays, the plan is to wrap end of July.
