Tulsa residents are invited to stretch, breathe and cuddle with adoptable kittens during a special Kitten Yoga event on Saturday, May 10.
The session begins at 10 a.m. at WOMPA, located on Charles Page Boulevard. Participants can enjoy a relaxing yoga session surrounded by playful kittens, creating a unique and joyful experience that supports animal rescue efforts.

The event benefits Purr-A-Lot Shelter, a nonprofit cat rescue organization based in Tulsa.
Founded in 2012, Purr-A-Lot partners with rural municipal shelters such as Sapulpa Animal Shelter, Wagoner Animal Control, Miami Animal Shelter and Pryor Animal Shelter.

Purr-A-Lot Shelter currently has more than 60 cats available for adoption and has helped 940 cats in 2024 alone.
The organization works to provide medical care, shelter and a second chance for cats in need. Community members can support the shelter by fostering, adopting or donating.

In addition to the Kitten Yoga fundraiser, an adoption event will be held Sunday from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. at the PetSmart located at 101st Street and Memorial Drive.
