Rava, one of the Malayan tiger cubs at the Tulsa Zoo, is back on exhibit after recovering from a minor injury. Zookeepers had temporarily limited his interaction with other cubs while his ear healed.
Now, he’s reunited with all four siblings and active again in the Lost Kingdom habitat.
Zoo officials say Rava hurt his ear during a play session with his siblings. The injury happened while the young cubs were rough-housing, normal behavior for tiger cubs, but one that occasionally leads to minor injuries.
In order to prevent the injury from getting worse, zookeepers separated Rava from more than one or two of his siblings at a time.
The Zoo says Rava's ear will be tilted permanently, but that it would not affect the quality of his life.
Now that he's back with his siblings on a more regular basis, visitors can head on over to the Lost Kingdom, where he can usually be spotted with all his siblings.
The zoo does say that the group might still not always be visible together due to factors like training schedules and feeding times.
