MayFit is a new addition to Tulsa’s annual Mayfest, introduced to extend the momentum of the Mayfest 5K into a full morning of fitness and wellness activities.
The segment aims to attract a broader audience with free, community-focused experiences designed to promote health, movement and mindfulness.
MayFit events will take place on Saturday, May 10, beginning after the 5K concludes at approximately 8:30 a.m. Activities are scheduled across various festival locations, including 101 E. Archer and near the main music stages.
The lineup includes:
While the 5K and 1K fun run require registration and a fee, all other MayFit activities are free and open to the public.
MayFit was developed to build on the popularity of the 5K and introduce new audiences to the festival through health-oriented programming.
Mayfest partnered with The Outsiders House Museum and Fleet Feet Tulsa for the 5K, which celebrates Tulsa’s literary and cinematic history. Proceeds from the race support the preservation of the historic Outsiders house.
Wellness practitioner Shenna Jean will lead a sound bath and visualization session designed to connect participants with their "Future Self."
The immersive experience blends music, meditation and creative intention in line with this year’s Mayfest theme of "Stay Gold." Her session begins at 9:30 a.m. on the second floor of 101 Archer.
