As the growing season flourishes, the Tulsa Farmers Market is introducing a new way for shoppers to enjoy fresh, local food.
A second weekly market will launch on Wednesday, May 7, in the Kendall Whittier neighborhood, bringing more opportunities for residents to connect with local growers and producers.
The new Wednesday Morning Farmers Market will operate every Wednesday from 8 to 11 a.m. at 1 S. Lewis Ave through August.
Organizers say this is the largest selection of fresh food available midweek in Tulsa.
Shoppers can expect much of what they get at the regular weekend markets. They can expect fresh, locally grown produce, responsibly raised meats, farm eggs, plants, cut flowers, honey, ferments, and much more.
Tulsa Farmers Market also plans to host live music, educational guests, donation-based yoga, community-focused programming, and fun-filled activities throughout the season.
The market will continue to accept SNAP benefits and offer the Double Up Oklahoma program, which matches SNAP benefits up to $20 each market day.
TFM also accepts the Senior Farmers Market Nutrition Program, as well as debit, credit, and cash. Some vendors also accept tribal benefits.

Updates are also shared regularly via Facebook and Instagram, including special event listings and programming schedules.
