23rd-ranked Cowgirls earn 4-seed in Big 12 Softball Championship

Oklahoma State will play Arizona State on Thursday at 11 am at Devon Park in Oklahoma City.

OKLAHOMA CITY -

After sweeping Utah in Stillwater over the weekend, the Oklahoma State softball team earned the 4-seed in this week's Big 12 Softball Championship. The Cowgirls finished the regular season with a 33-17 record, 13-9 in conference play.

The 23rd ranked Cowgirls open tournament play on Thursday, as they will take on Arizona State in the opening game of the day at 11 a.m. OSU and ASU met only once during the regular season, that was a 4-0 Cowgirl win in Tempe on April 2nd. The game will be streamed on ESPN+.

The tournament is single-elimination, and the championship game is set for 11 a.m. on Saturday, May 10th.
