No. 4/3 Oklahoma (42-5, 16-5 SEC) scored in each of the first three innings and added the game-winning run in the sixth while Sam Landry pitched the final 3.2 frames as the Sooners completed a sweep of No. 3/2 Texas (42-9, 13-8 SEC) on Senior Day with a 9-8 win, Sunday, April 27.

OU won a pair of one-run games in the series to mark the Sooners' first-ever three-game sweep of a top five team in program history. The Sooners did so in front of a Love's Field single game attendance record, 4,609 fans. The mark broke the previous record, 4,587, which was set Friday, April 25. Sunday's attendance total brought the weekend to an OU series attendance record, 13,734.

OU 9, Texas 8

The crooked numbers continued from Saturday into Sunday for the Sooners as Ella Parker took the 10th pitch of her at-bat 251 feet into the right field bleachers for a 2-0 lead.

Gabbie Garcia followed up with her own extended at-bat, launching a towering three-run home run to right center on the 12th pitch of her plate appearance.

Oklahoma scored for the seventh straight inning dating back to last night with three runs to make it, 8-0. Cydney Sanders walked, Ailana Agbayani doubled and Sanders eventually scored on a passed ball.

Texas broke up Isabella's Smith streak of nine-in-a-row retired before notching a six-run fourth inning to cut the Longhorns' deficit to, 8-6, after the fourth. The Longhorns did all of their scoring with seven singles. UT's Katie Stewart tied the game up with a two-run home run in the fifth inning, making it 8-8.

From there Landry was dialed in, fanning the side while striking out five in 3.2 innings to earn the win. She was supported with the winning run in the sixth. After Nelly McEnroe-Marinas walked, Cydney Sanders bunted her way on. Agbayani drew a walk and Isabela Emerling plated McEnroe-Marinas with a sac fly.

One Texas batter reached in the seventh, but Garcia made a nice play in the hole to record the final out.
