Following his finish in the Oklahoma City Quarter Marathon, Gov. Kevin Stitt visited Gorilla Hill to cheer on his fellow runners.

Though his race did not pass through Gorilla Hill, Stitt said he wished to offer his support to all those still running.
"We didn't come up to this for the Quarter, but we wanted to come up here and cheer everybody on," Stitt said.
Between giving runners high-fives and cheering them on, Stitt said he encourages others to take part in one of the Memorial Marathon races.
"Next year, everybody that's watching has got to come do this race," Stitt said. "The energy is unbelievable. Come volunteer or cheer people on. It's so good when you're running."
As for his post-race recovery, Stitt said he intends to enjoy the rest of his Sunday attending church and watching golf.
