Artistic Director Scott Seaton noted that the concert will highlight a diverse array of composers, from the timeless elegance of Bach to the dramatic sweep of Respighi’s “Pines of Rome.”
The program will also feature music from renowned film composers Hans Zimmer and Klaus Badelt. Additionally, the concert will present Wagner’s intense “Tristan” and Jessica Meyer’s “Go BIG Or Go HOME,” a piece that mixes funk, bluegrass, and Latin influences.
World Premiere by Composer Noam Faingold
The performance will also debut a world premiere composition by Noam Faingold, a former Tulsa resident and past Signature Symphony Advisory Board member.
Titled “Letter from a Second Home,” the piece was specifically commissioned for this concert. Faingold’s composition bridges two culturally distinct parts of the United States, offering a unique musical narrative to the evening’s program.
