City of Tulsa offering special trash service for people with disabilities

The City of Tulsa offers a special trash collection service for residents who have difficulty getting their bins to the curb due to physical limitations or disabilities.

Through the Physically Limited Refuse Service, residents with medically verified disabilities can request once-a-week backyard collection of trash and recyclables at the standard curbside collection rate.

To apply, residents must print out an online application and mail it back to the city at 2317 S. Jackson Ave., Tulsa, OK 74107.

Once approved, city crews will collect trash or recyclables from the designated area each week.
