The Oklahoma State Board of Education is scheduled to meet on Thursday, after March's planned meeting was canceled due to a "technical error."

Thursday's meeting agenda contains items from both this month and the last, including a handful of high-profile incidents from across Oklahoma.
Of the several items on the agenda, up to 12 Oklahoma teachers could lose their teaching licenses due to an emergency suspension.

The board will discuss and decide the status of several teachers involved with alleged child abuse and misconduct.
Six other teachers appear to be voluntarily surrendering their certificates. Two of the most notable names on Thursday's list are Kimberly Coates and Phillip Koons.
Coates is charged with public intoxication while on the job at a Payne County school, and will have final findings presented from a hearing officer.

The board will also discuss Koons' future in Oklahoma schools, as he is facing a jury trial in the fall for allegedly abusing student athletes in Ringling.

Another big item on the agenda is Ada Public Schools' request for fewer school hours due to tornado damage after the district was impacted by severe storms twice this year.
