Tulsa’s Mother Road Market has once again claimed a top national honor. For the third consecutive year, the nonprofit food hall has claimed the title of Best Food Hall in the USA TODAY 10Best Readers’ Choice Awards, a win that highlights its ongoing commitment to community, cuisine, and entrepreneurship.
Since opening in 2018, the market has welcomed millions of visitors, incubated hundreds of local food businesses, and become a crown jewel along Route 66.
Mother Road Market first captured national attention in 2023 when it was nominated for the award. Backed by community votes and growing recognition, it clinched the top spot that year — and then again in 2024 and now 2025.
“Being named Best Food Hall by USA TODAY 10Best for the third year in a row is an incredible honor,” said Elizabeth Frame Ellison, Chair of the Board for the Lobeck Taylor Family Foundation. “We’re proud to put Tulsa’s food scene on the national map.”
It’s Oklahoma’s only nonprofit food hall and is a program of Lobeck Taylor Family Foundation.
Through its partnership with Kitchen 66, a food business incubator, the market has supported more than 300 entrepreneurs. The venue serves as a launchpad for food startups, allowing chefs and makers to test concepts and connect with the community.
Located on historic Route 66, Mother Road Market offers a curated mix of cuisines — from hot chicken and artisan ice cream to globally inspired dishes. The hall features communal dining, local retail, and regular events that bring Tulsans and tourists together.
“As we approach the centennial of Route 66, this win feels especially meaningful,” Ellison said. “It’s about honoring our roots and building a future for local food entrepreneurs.”
