Tulsa Public Schools is asking families to share their thoughts on how the district is serving students this year through the 2025 Family Feedback Survey, now open through Wednesday, May 21.
The district says the survey helps school leaders better understand what’s working, what needs improvement, and how to support students and families more effectively moving forward.
Superintendent Dr. Ebony Johnson emphasized the importance of hearing directly from families. After last spring’s survey, the district reviewed more than 2,000 anonymous responses and made several changes based on the feedback.
'We are committed to listening to our students and families,' Johnson said. 'This survey helps us learn how we can do better and continue improving student experiences.'
The first Family Feedback Survey, conducted in spring 2024, revealed several strengths and areas for growth:
Based on survey results, Tulsa Public Schools implemented several initiatives:
To take the survey, visit www.tulsaschools.org/survey. Families will need to enter their student’s ID number, which was emailed by Superintendent Johnson. The number is the same as your student’s lunch number and is also available in the PowerSchool Parent Portal.
You may also contact your school or the Enrollment Center at 918-746-7500 or email SurveySupport@tulsaschools.org for assistance.
Parents may complete the survey once per student if they wish, using each student’s ID separately.
You can also find a link to the survey on the district’s Facebook page.
The survey is open through Wednesday, May 21, 2025. All responses will remain confidential and will not be shared with schools or district administrators in an individually identifiable way.
Tulsa Public Schools says they appreciate the time families take to help shape the future of the district.
