A Tulsa County judge sentences a man to two consecutive life terms, plus an additional 10 years, for killing two people in Turley.

Authorities say Rodney Williams shot and killed Tiffany Culkins Sheets and her landlord, Harry McElfresh, in January 2023. Investigators described the murders as “execution-style,” saying both victims had their hands duct taped and were shot in the head.

Williams was caught in Los Angeles a month later and extradited back to Tulsa.

The jury found Williams guilty on two counts of first-degree murder, gang-related offense, and having a gun as a felon.

Prosecutors also charged Roger Jackson Jr. with aiding Williams by driving him to the murder scene. Jackson pleaded guilty to accessory after the fact and was sentenced to 15 years in prison.
