The Oklahoma City Thunder’s postgame routine has taken on a life of its own — and it’s not just about basketball stats or highlight reels.
Team reporter Nick Gallo has once again found himself at the center of a prank, this time courtesy of Jalen Williams and a bag of peanut M&Ms.
After Sunday’s playoff win over the Memphis Grizzlies, while Gallo was interviewing Chet Holmgren, Williams tucked a bag of peanut M&Ms into Gallo’s suit pocket — perfectly placed like a pocket square.
As Holmgren answered postgame questions, other Thunder players couldn’t resist getting in on the joke.
Several took turns picking at the candy, laughing and messing with Gallo throughout the entire interview. Gallo didn’t miss a beat.
This isn’t the first time Gallo has been at the receiving end of the team’s antics.
The Thunder squad has developed a reputation for goofing around during postgame interviews, especially when Gallo is on the mic.
From photo bombs to candy pocket squares, it’s all part of a growing tradition following Thunder games.
Clips of the moment quickly made the rounds on social media, with fans praising the team’s chemistry and light-hearted energy.
