Monitoring floods and road closures for Okmulgee County

Official Okmulgee County Emergency Management announcement:

There are numerous roads closed throughout the county. We will try and list most of them here. Do not go around barricades that are in place. We have had several water rescues due to people driving around them. If you see water covering the roadway do not drive through the water you do not know if the roadway is still underneath the water surface.
  1. Bixby Rd from Ferguson Rd to County Line North
  2. 210 & Celia Berry Hill Rd. Road washed out.
  3. Abeka Rd North of Hwy 266
  4. Arbeka Rd & Holly Rd water over roadway. Not closed at this time.
  5. W 13th & Alt 75 North of Beggs
  6. 230 between Cedar & Bristlecone
  7. Cedar East of Hwy 75
  8. Coalton Bottoms
  9. Sharp Rd from the Deep Fork River to Okmukgee in spots has water covering the roadway.
  10. Alt 75 between Smith Rd and Celia Berryhill Rd.

Crews are still out working and will continue to assess as the afternoon continues.



Closures due to floods:

  1. Bixby and Hectorville Rd
  2. 210 and Celia Berry Hill Rd
  3. Bixby from Ferguson to County Ln is all shut down
  4. 300 and Arbeka Road
