Tulsa closes city offices, services for Good Friday observance

City of Tulsa announces closure of several municipal services this Good Friday, April 18. Essential public safety operations to proceed as usual.

The City of Tulsa has announced that several municipal services will be closed on Friday, April 18, in observance of Good Friday. However, essential public safety and mission-critical operations will continue as usual.

City Facilities Closed

City Hall, Municipal Court, and other City facilities will be closed.

The City of Tulsa's mulch site at 2100 N. 145th East Ave. will also be closed Friday, as well as Easter Sunday.

Park recreation centers will also be closed, however, Mohawk Park and Page Belcher golf courses will remain open.

City Facilities and Services Remaining Open

The Tulsa Zoo will operate normally, as will MetroLink Tulsa (formerly Tulsa Transit).

Refuse and recycling services will proceed as scheduled. However, curbside yard waste and bulky waste will not be collected on Friday.

The Oxley trails will be accessible, but the Oxley Nature Center visitors center will be closed.

Tulsa Animal Shelter remains open and on normal operating hours.
