As Back to the Future comes to the Tulsa Performing Arts Center, Tulsa is thinking about the PAC's future.

  1. $80 million: The City Council voted to support a plan that would include a nearly $80 million renovation funded by the Improve Our Tulsa tax package.
  2. $50 million: The PAC will also contribute $50 million worth of private donations.

The renovations will include a new glass entryway and atrium, additional restrooms, a full-service restaurant and bar, a coffee shop, and expanded performance space with a 2030 curtain time.

"As a theater student myself, I find it just really cool to be in the PAC in general. So it's, it's really nice place, and I just love it," said Matthew Rangel.

He loves the PAC and says this plan will make it better.

"Hearing that they're putting money into it is honestly really uplifting, because you just don't see a lot of people investing in the arts nowadays, so it's really nice to see that investment," he said.

While the renovations are underway, the PAC says they plan to set up a temporary venue across the street in the parking lot.
