Science Museum Oklahoma hosting heist-themed adults-only night

Science Museum Oklahoma is inviting Oklahomans to come and enjoy an adults-only event later this month.

Museum Heist: The Science of the Steal is an event for guests 21 and over, and features hands-on experiences such as lock picking, fingerprint lifting, weight-swapping tricks, rappelling mannequins and a go-kart getaway course.

The Coca-Cola Southwest Beverages Porch met with the museum Director of Communications, Abby Wolfe, to learn more about the event.

When it comes to different activities, Wolfe says VIP cocktails, mask making and lock-picking under pressure are only part of the night's fun.

"I wish you could see the cheesing smiles on these adults' faces with a cocktail in their hand," Wolfe said. "Having so much fun like children, it truly is one of our favorite things to see."

The event is scheduled for April 25, with early entry beginning at 6:30 p.m.

Doors for general admission ticketholders will be able to enter at 7 p.m.
