A popular midweek tradition is back in Downtown Tulsa. The Downtown Midweek Market kicks off its season on April 16, bringing together local vendors, food trucks, live music, and new themed events.
The market runs every Wednesday from 4:30 to 7:30 p.m. through Nov. 5, with each week offering a fresh mix of local flavors, crafts, and entertainment.
Here are six things to know before you go:
1. Vendors Rotate Weekly
Each week will feature a mix of regional farms, small businesses, and artisans.
2. A Showcase of Tulsa’s Creatives
Artisans like Wrought and Rooted Creatives LLC and Yo's Creations bring locally made crafts, jewelry and art pieces.
3. Local Music Takes the Stage
Opening night features a performance by Poppa Foster & the Grits. Future musical guests include: Mother Earth String Choir, Tom Peaver, Molly Devine & Hot Toast.
4. Foodies, Rejoice
Elote Café and Mister Softee ice cream will be there to help kick off the market, with more local trucks expected in the coming weeks.
5. Something Sweet for Everyone
Dessert vendors include Cakes by Maddog, MNBB and Wonderland Treats, Onifade's Bakery and Cookie Co., and Dipped In Diamonds 918.
