On today's Coca-Cola Southwest Beverages Porch, Reporter Tevis Hillis speaks with the Oklahoma Humane Society about their Poochella dog festival happening Saturday, April 12.

The event will take place at Lower Scissortail park from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

General admission for the festival is free, but there will be donation opportunities as well as pet swag bundles available for purchase at the event.

OK Humane Society CEO Mark Eby said Poochella is the organization's big fundraiser for the year, this being the second festival they've hosted.

"We help about 28,000 animals a year," Eby said. "So this is a way for us to raise some money to help even more animals."

Poochella will include over 50 vendors, and have a ton of activities for kids, pets and their owners alike.

"We'll have food trucks, drinks, everything out here for people at the park," Eby said. "We'll have a lure course for dogs, we'll have an obstacle course for kids to play in. Everything is free for you just to come out."

Visit the official Poochella website for more information.
