A man wanted for murder in Tulsa has been caught in Mexico.
Tulsa Police say Angel Ibarra was part of an ambush shooting that left two teenagers dead and two others injured.
The mother of one of the boys killed says she's relieved to hear about the arrest.
What happened to Jett Brummett and Arturo Degollado, Jr.?
Jett Brummett and Arturo Degollado Jr. were murdered inside a car while hanging out with friends in front of an apartment complex in Tulsa.
Tulsa Police said the shooting happened around 1:30 a.m. at the Worthington Townhomes near E. 21st St. and S. 117th E. Ave. in February.
Two other teens were also shot but survived.
Catching the suspects
It also took two months to find the last of the three suspects accused of killing Jett.
Tulsa Police say Angel Ibarra was arrested by Homeland Security Investigations (HSI) in Mexico on Monday and will be extradited to Tulsa.
"None of it brings Jett or Junior back. But it's a relief that all the ones that had a part of it are arrested, so they'll be held responsible," said Crystal Brummett, Jett's mother.
Christopher Atjun turned himself in to police, and another suspect, 16-year-old Jospeh Melendez, was also arrested in February.
All three suspects are charged with two counts of first-degree murder.
Ibarra and Atjun are also charged with two counts of shooting with intent to kill for shooting the other two victims, who survived.
Law enforcement says Angel Ibarra will be brought back to Tulsa to face the charges.
A family's heartbreak
Jett Brummett was murdered two months ago, and during that time, his family celebrated what would have been his 19th birthday.
"He always looked forward to his birthdays a lot. He always wanted to grow up, like he wanted to get older and go out into the world," said Jadyn Davidson, Jett's sister.
Crystal says she can now focus on the trial, and says justice for Jett and Arturo would be life sentences.
"I'm not really looking for an eye for an eye or the death penalty because I think it'd be worse to spend the rest of your life locked up," said Brummett.
She says her top priority is finding peace over losing her son.
"It eats at me, just the whole thing every day, just kind of wondering if I could have done anything different that day, and maybe he wouldn't have gone to hang out with his friends," said Crystal.
