A speakeasy bar in Oklahoma City's Plaza District hopes the public can help them identify the driver of a car that crashed into their business.

Cameras captured the car as it crashed through the glass wall of Good For A Few, a speakeasy bar.

It happened between 3:30 a.m. and 4:30 a.m. Tuesday morning.

The business was alerted to the mess via text message from a neighboring business.

“Being April 1, we thought it was a joke,” said Charlie Alvarado, Good For A Few Operations Manager.

Charlie Alvarado, the operations manager for Good For a Few, hopped on their cameras and saw scattered debris in place of a storefront. And after scouring through footage saw that a vehicle was responsible for the wreckage.

“They hit the barrier that’s in front of our building, broke through our glass wall, we have a pew that people sit on to wait to get inside. They pushed through our bookshelf,” said Alvarado.

The video shows the vehicle crash through the wall and then disappear.

“Nobody came in, and they almost immediately backed out. They hung out for four seconds,” said Alvarado,

Cameras from a nearby business captured the dark colored sedan slowing driving toward the business and then slowly backing out.

“I think they understood what happened, what they did, and wanted to leave the scene as fast as possible,” said Alvarado.

Locally owned, the business scrambled Tuesday morning to clean up shattered glass and mangled debris.

“Every single day matters that we're open. We're very intentional. Like any restaurant and bar, we run really tight margins,” said Alvarado.

Specializing in craft cocktails, Alvarado says they are grateful to every neighbor, patron, and business that pitched in to help.

“We're going to keep going,” said Alvarado.

Because of their help, he says Good For A Few can serve their community with zero downtime.

“The fact that people were just willing to help, and we don’t know how to tell them to help, but to tell them to keep coming in,” said Alvarado.

If you have additional surveillance video of the vehicle involved or information about the case, you can contact the Oklahoma City Police, Good For a Few, or the Plaza District.

In a post to social media, Good For a Few said the 'Show must go on,' and invited supporters to attend a pop-up planned for Wednesday evening.
