According to airport officials Southwest Airlines accounted for the majority of cancellations and delays.
Damian Goggans, a classical guitarist landed in Oklahoma Sunday for a music audition.
Tuesday, after waking up to ice and snow, Goggans decided to get to the airport, six hours ahead of his flight.
Despite multiple notifications from Southwest Airlines warning him of possible delays-- Goggans said he was hopeful he'd make it back to Ohio on time.
“As we got closer to the airport, the roads were really bad, which is also concerning, I'm hoping the roads were the planes are leaving from. I'm hoping they've cleared that out,” Damian Goggans, OKC airport traveler.
“We don't have any control for the airlines if their flights are delayed or canceled. That comes from the airline and corporate,” said Stacey Hamm with OKC Will Rogers International Airport.

If his flight is canceled, Goggans says his guitar will help to pass the time.
Airport crews in Oklahoma City will continue to treat the runways.
With snow and ice currently on the roadways, they recommend travelers give themselves plenty of time to make it to the airport safely.
