OKC metro road conditions: Westbound I-40 traffic backed up in Del City

Traffic is being impacted by icy road conditions Wednesday morning along Interstate 40 in Del City.

Vehicles have come to a stop on the westbound lanes of I-40, with several semi-trucks blocking traffic near South Sooner Road.

It is unknown if there have been any crashes in the area.

Drivers are encouraged to seek an alternate route.
