Thunder star Shai-Gilgeous Alexander is on a tear so far this year, leading the league in points per game and is the NBA's MVP frontrunner midway through the season.

In Portland during a 118-108 win on Sunday, a young Thunder fan caught SGA's attention by asking him for his jersey.

The exchange was shared on the NBA and OKC Thunder Instagram accounts. Thunder Reporter Steve McGehee captured the moment from the stands after the game.

Fan: "Can I have your jersey after the game?"

SGA: "Anything for you!"

Following the game, SGA kept his word and even autographed the jersey for him.

According to ESPN, the fan was celebrating his 12th birthday that day.

The Thunder's next game is Wednesday, Jan. 29 against the Golden State Warriors at 9 p.m. on ESPN.

They'll be back in OKC on Saturday, Feb. 1 against the Sacramento Kings, with that game broadcast on KWTV channel 9 in OKC and KOTV channel 6 in Tulsa.
