Firefighters continue to tackle hotspots in Osage County as high winds sweep through the area. The evacuation order has now been lifted.

Firefighters are still battling flames in parts of Osage County near Pawhuska on Wednesday morning.

Crews have been tackling hotspots throughout the area, with high winds continuing to cause occasional flare-ups despite the overall progress in containment.

Several homes caught fire but there have been no reports of injuries.

The evacuation order has been lifted, and teams are monitoring and extinguishing any remaining flames, working around the clock to keep the fire under control.

A Red Cross shelter has been set up at the Osage County Fairgrounds.
