FC Tulsa has signed 19-year-old forward Aaron Bibout on loan from LA Galaxy, the club announced Thursday. The 6-foot-4 striker, known for his size and athleticism, will wear jersey No. 29 for FC Tulsa.
Bibout joins FC Tulsa after a standout season with Ventura County FC in MLS NEXT Pro, where he ranked in the top 10 in several categories: 8th in goals (8), 2nd in shot attempts (55), and 3rd in shots on target (25). He also led the team with 4 assists.
Head coach Mario Sanchez is excited about Bibout's potential to add depth and competition to the team, noting his consistent scoring record. “We are looking forward to having Aaron join the team,” Sanchez said. “He will bring a different dimension to our team with his size and athleticism. He will bring added depth and competition to the team. He has been scoring goals at a consistent level for Ventura County FC, and we anticipate he will continue to do so with us.”
Originally from Yaoundé, Cameroon, Bibout signed a multiyear contract with LA Galaxy in February 2023 after an impressive stint in MLS NEXT Pro. He scored 14 goals and provided 5 assists for Detroit City FC while on loan before making his MLS debut with LA Galaxy in June 2023.
