Blake Shelton Named Honorary Mayor Of Tishomingo

Oklahoma's own Blake Shelton has won countless awards and now he can add mayor to the list.

Shelton was named honorary Mayor of Tishomingo during a city council meeting this week.

According to city leader, Shelton's star power and work in the community have helped put Tishomingo on the map.

The decision comes after Shelton said on TV that he would quit everything to return home to run the city.
