The Oklahoma City Thunder now know their path in the 2025 Emirates NBA Cup as the league announced group play dates ahead of the full 2025-26 regular season schedule release.
Oklahoma City will compete in West Group A alongside the Minnesota Timberwolves, Phoenix Suns, Sacramento Kings, and Utah Jazz. Group play runs from Oct. 31 to Nov. 28, with each team facing its group opponents once in a round-robin format.
When group stage standings are finalized, the six group winners and two wild card teams will advance to the knockout rounds. The semifinals and championship will be played in Las Vegas from Dec. 13-16, with financial bonuses for the winning roster. The title game will not count toward regular-season standings, serving instead as an 83rd game for the two finalists.
Last season, Oklahoma City came up just short of the NBA Cup title, falling to the Milwaukee Bucks in the tournament final.
In all, 15 NBA Cup group play games will air nationally across Prime Video, NBC, and ESPN. Oklahoma City will appear in one national broadcast during the group stage, Nov. 26 against Minnesota on ESPN.
