8/13/2025 UPDATE:
Joe Kralicek submitted his resignation as director of Tulsa Area Emergency Management late Tuesday night, Mayor Monroe Nichols confirmed. His termination is effective immediately.
Mayor Nichols confirmed the announcement to Dave Davis during an interview segment at 9 a.m.
The Tulsa County Board of Directors has appointed Tony Roda as interim director of TAEMA following Kralicek's resignation.

Tulsa Mayor Monroe Nichols is calling for the termination of Tulsa Emergency Management Director Joe Kralicek.
Kralicek was arrested on Aug. 7 and is accused of sending and receiving images and videos of child sexual abuse through a messaging app. He was booked into jail and later posted a $50,000 bond.
In a letter to the Tulsa County Board of County Commissioners, Nichols asks for Kralicek's employment to be terminated and for Deputy Director Tony Roda to be named interim director.
A special meeting on Wednesday afternoon, following his arraignment on child pornography charges.
