Zeeco Oktoberfest Tulsa competing to keep USA TODAY’s Best Oktoberfest title

Tulsa's Oktoberfest is hoping to hold onto its crown as USA TODAY’s Best Oktoberfest in the country.

The festival is one of ten nationwide in an online vote running now through September 8.

Lieutenant Governor Matt Pinnell joined with organizers Monday night to officially kick off the campaign with a ceremonial prost at the German American Society of Tulsa.

This year's Oktoberfest runs October 16 through 19 at River West Festival Park.
