Oklahoma Comic Con is moving into the Arvest Convention Center in downtown Tulsa for the weekend. The two-day event brings a diverse list of guests, vendors, artists, and pop culture fan groups under one roof.
"It is a place where you can come be a nerd and be a fan of whatever and you are going to find actors, voice actors, wrestlers, artists, and creators that are into that same type of stuff," said emcee Joey Mills.
Oklahoma Comic Con has a long lineup of celebrity guests that will be signing autographs, taking photos with fans, and doing Q&As throughout the weekend. These include live-action actors, voice actors, professional wrestlers, cosplayers, and comic book artists and writers.
Mills said they hand-pick celebrities to be guests who enjoy fan interaction. "We only bring back the ones that we feel like they really appreciate the experience because that is what we want the fans to walk away with," he added.
This year's lineup features live-action actors Sean Astin, Kel Mitchell, and Vicki Lawrence, voice actors like Rob Paulsen, Alan Oppenheimer, and Cam Clarke, wrestlers JBL and Ron Simmons, and comic book legends like Michael Golden and Renee Witterstaetter. To see the full list of guests, visit the Oklahoma Comic Con website.
