A former wrestling coach at Sapulpa is accused of sending sexually explicit content and making lewd proposals to a student at the high school.
According to a police affidavit, Cody Fuller messaged the student through Snapchat and sent explicit photos and messages. He is also accused of inappropriately touching the student.
The district terminated Fuller's employment after finding out about the allegations in February of this year. The district said Fuller worked as a wrestling coach from August 2018 to February 2025 but was never a classroom teacher.
Sapulpa School District issued the following statement about the situation.
"Sapulpa Public Schools is aware of the arrest of a former lay wrestling coach. The district suspended and subsequently terminated the coach in February, immediately following allegations of inappropriate behavior. The district then notified the proper authorities and the state department. He worked as a lay coach, but never taught in a classroom.
