TU garage sale offers game-worn soccer gear, supports back-to-school drive

The University of Tulsa is marking National Garage Sale Day with a special event combining fan gear deals and a community cause.

On Friday, Aug. 8, fans are invited to take part in TU’s Garage Sale and Back-to-School Drive, happening from 6 to 8 p.m. both Friday and Saturday night. The event will feature the sale of game-worn soccer gear, including jerseys, shorts, socks, and cleats, all priced at $20 or less.

Shoppers can expect dozens of items, with cleat sizes starting as small as size 4. TU officials say the sale is a fun way to clear out past gear while giving fans a unique opportunity to own a piece of TU soccer history.

In addition to the garage sale, TU is encouraging attendees to support local students by donating school supplies. Items like backpacks, notebooks, pencils, and crayons will be collected during the event as part of a back-to-school drive benefiting families across the greater Tulsa area.
