Port Muskogee is taking over 125.49 acres of land previously known as the Frontier Terminal.

The new site will be called Port Muskogee South.

“This expansion is about more than land- it’s about unlocking new economic possibilities for Muskogee and eastern Oklahoma,” said Kimbra Scott, Executive Director of Port Muskogee. “With direct access to Class I rail carriers, Port Muskogee is strategically positioned to support and enhance industrial operations throughout the Muskogee region.”

Port Muskogee says this comes after $15 million in rail improvements, the nearly completed $12 million flood mitigation beam, and a future $33 million in waterfront infrastructure upgrades within the main terminal.

Port Muskogee says this was made possible by money from the City of Muskogee Foundation.
