Food On The Move is making a major impact in the Tulsa area this summer, feeding families, distributing produce and bringing the community together through resource festivals and volunteer events.

With hundreds of volunteers powering its mission, the nonprofit is helping tackle food insecurity and encouraging residents to get involved. Here's how.

A Big Impact in One Month

In just one month, Food On The Move served more than 900 families across Tulsa. The organization hosted events designed to bring food and resources directly to communities that need them most.

Meals and Produce for Thousands

The nonprofit distributed more than 1,000 hot meals and over 48,000 pounds of fresh produce in June alone. These resources were handed out during volunteer-led festivals and through partnerships with other community organizations.

The Power of Volunteers

Each event relies on nearly 200 volunteers to make it happen. Organizers say their work wouldn’t be possible without the time and effort of community members who step up to help.
