The annual patriotic concert performed by the Signature Symphony at Tulsa Community College (TCC) is unlike any other Fourth of July tradition. This year's concert falls on Thursday, July 3rd. Here are 3 things to know:
Signature Symphony's patriotic concert is a high-energy, family-friendly event featuring classic and contemporary American favorites. Artistic Director Scott Seaton said it connects the dots between Bernstein, Sousa, John Williams, and even Tchaikovsky with his 1812 Overture.
Signature Symphony is the professional orchestra-in-residence for TCC's Performing Arts Center for Education. 70 professional musicians perform with the orchestra as well as teach and coach music students at TCC, other colleges and universities, and various schools in the area.
This year, Mackenzie Manning, the 2025 Tulsa Sings! Audience Choice Winner and Booker T. Washington student will return to the stage to perform with the orchestra.
Signature Symphony will perform on Thursday, July 3rd giving this year's patriotic concert the name 4th on the 3rd - Stars, Stripes, and Symphony. It will be on TCC's Southeast Campus at the VanTrease Performing Arts Center for Education at 10300 E 81st St. The concert begins at 7:30 p.m.
Tickets start at $20 for adults, $10 for youth under 18 and can be purchased here. Veterans can get a special $5 ticket by calling the Ticket Office at 918-595-7777.
