Isaiah Knight’s family speaks out after his fatal shooting at Juneteenth Festival

We are learning more about Isaiah Knight, the man who was killed in the shooting at the Juneteenth festival, including thoughts from his family members.

"Isaiah was always goofy, playful, a little bit annoying, class clown," said Endia Knight, Isaiah’s aunt.

She shared with News On 6 that even though Isaiah had a criminal history, he was determined to turn his life around and had recently completed welding school. Isaiah and his family were attending the festival when the shooting occurred.

"Just getting to the scene and seeing my brother hold him while he laid there lifeless is—I wouldn't wish that on anyone," she said.

Isaiah Knight pleaded guilty last Wednesday to aggravated drug trafficking and was serving a suspended sentence.
