Riley Ellis hooked up a giant 82-pound flathead catfish on the Neosho River!

He was with his dad and their friend targeting the invasive bighead carp when he snagged the catfish instead.

Riley doesn't just catch big fish. He's also a star football player in Vian, going into his senior year.

After getting the weight and a picture, he released the catfish.
